Specialist care for horses undergoing rehabilitation

Little Scotney Rehabilitation Livery is a specialist facility providing expert care for horses undergoing post-operative recovery, managed box rest, or performance rehabilitation. We maintain a collaborative relationship with referring veterinarians to ensure clinical objectives are met through daily, hands-on attention. Every horse follows a unique, evidence-based plan designed to safely rebuild strength and facilitate a confident return to work.

Meet the owner

Founded by Imogen Golding (IMSc VetPhys), a qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist, Little Scotney Rehabilitation Livery was created from a passion for helping horses recover safely and successfully. That passion stems from personal experience—having navigated the challenges of rehabilitation with her own horses and understanding how important expert guidance and consistent care can be throughout the recovery journey.

Alongside her Veterinary Physiotherapy qualifications, years of practical experience caring for performance horses have shaped a rehabilitation service that combines evidence-based treatment with exceptional day-to-day management. Knowing that successful rehabilitation relies just as much on consistent daily care as it does on the rehabilitation programme itself, every horse receives the highest standard of support throughout their stay.

Recognising the need for rehabilitation livery that is both professionally led and individually tailored, every horse benefits from a structured recovery programme, close collaboration with veterinary professionals, and compassionate, welfare-first care from admission through to their return to work.
